Saturnalian Revelry!
Katie: Fiber optic Christmas tree sounds awesome. You need to get lots of crystal ornaments to put in front of the lights. Why don't you get "real" Christmas trees?
Todd: We have a real (fake) Christmas tree, but it is in storage somewhere. We are going to visit my family down in the Florida Panhandle for Christmas, so I do not think we will dig it out this year.
However, I have a growing conviction, you might say, that since every Christmas is different I need to start getting a real life tree every year. Every holiday season is like an individual, giving us unique memories to cherish for our whole lives and I believe having an individual tree, rather than the same plastic one year after year will sort of help embody this. Also, this may or may not be solely a justification for my plans to burn said tree on New Years Eve in a giant bonfire, surrounded by Saturnalian revelry. Who can fathom the heart of man?
